What we collect and why
Enquiries (Creations, Bespoke, Contact forms) — name, email, phone (optional) and your message, used to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
Newsletter — name and email, used only to send you our newsletter, never sold or used for anything else. Based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
Analytics — we use Wix Analytics, the built-in tool of our website provider, to understand how visitors use the site (for example pages viewed, device type and approximate location). We evaluate this data in aggregated form only.
Instagram — our website links to our Instagram profile; as long as no feed is embedded, data is only transmitted to Meta if you click that link and leave our site. If we embed an Instagram feed on our website in the future, its content is loaded from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Meta then receives your IP address and technical data about your device, may set cookies and may transfer data to the USA. We will only load such a feed after you have consented via our cookie banner. If Google Analytics or a Meta/Instagram Pixel are added later, this section — and a cookie consent banner — will be updated first.
Recipients & processors
Data may be shared with service providers acting on our behalf: our website provider Wix (hosting, forms, emails and analytics), our email provider and our accounting and IT service providers. If we embed an Instagram feed or add Google Analytics or a Meta Pixel later, Meta or Google will also receive data as described above. Some providers process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the EU, Israel and the USA. Where a country does not offer an adequate level of data protection, we rely on recognized safeguards such as the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
retention
Enquiry data is kept for 12 months after your enquiry is resolved. If an order results from it, we keep the related records for 10 years, as required by Swiss accounting law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and object to its processing, by contacting studio@leorey.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or your local data protection authority.
cookies
Our website is hosted on Wix. Wix sets cookies that are technically necessary to run the site securely (for example to load pages, protect against misuse and send forms), as well as cookies for Wix Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; some parts of the site may then not work properly. If we add further tools such as an embedded Instagram feed, Google Analytics or a Meta Pixel, we will first ask for your consent via a cookie banner.
