Founded in Zürich, Leo Rey is a fine jewelry brand defined by deliberate design, vibrant colored gemstones, and a devotion to individuality. As a boutique house, we create small-batch lines alongside one-of-a-kind bespoke commissions, each developed in close dialogue between form, precious metal, and stone. At the heart of our work is natural color: sapphires, tourmalines, and rare spinels, chosen by hand for their shade as much as their clarity. Our jewelry is made to express joy, character, and confidence.

FOUNDING STORY
Friends for more than twenty years, Caroline and Isabelle came from different professional fields before joining forces in 2026 through a shared passion for jewelry, design, and stones. With training in gemology, jewelry design, and jewelry production, they set out to create what they felt was missing: fine jewelry with color and confidence. They oversee every piece together, from the first sketch to the finished jewel.
The name brings both founders together: LEO from Leu, Isabelle's maiden name, and REY from Spoerry. The lion hidden in it was never planned, but they kept it, because it is also the heraldic animal of Zürich.
Their first line, lode, takes its name from the vein of ore in which precious metal is found.
COLORED GEMSTONES
Every color we choose is backed by formal gemological training. We study each stone's origin, cut, and character before it reaches a sketch, and we share that knowledge with every client, including where a stone comes from and why we chose it.
